Email hosting is a service in which a hosting provider rents out email servers to its users. While some companies offer basic free hosting options, you get more from premium services that offer more flexibility and power. Professional web-based email hosting takes place when both incoming and outgoing emails are managed by a separate shared or dedicated mail server.

Professional or business email creation may seem complicated, but actually, it is not as scary as it looks. Once your desired business email domain is chosen and the email hosting is purchased, all that's left to do is set up your DNS records. After that, you will be able to create a mailbox and enjoy the email service.

If you are using a third-party email service and would like to switch to our Private Email, you can easily migrate your old emails (Inbox, Sent and other folders) to our servers using the Webmail interface. In order to transfer old emails to your email hosting account, follow these steps.

CMS Hub Enterprise accounts support private content for blog posts, landing pages, and website pages. Service Hub Professional and Enterprise accounts support private content for knowledge base articles. Users in accounts with any of these subscriptions can also target chatflows to chat with logged in visitors.

CMS Hub Enterprise accounts can set up membership for landing pages and websites pages. When you make a page private with registration required, a registration email is sent to contacts who are members of the selected lists so they can set up a password.

A contact may be added to a list already associated with multiple content objects on different domains. In this case, the domain for the email will be determined by the first applicable content type on this list:

There is a two minute delay after setting your content to private before the email is processed. During this delay, the email can be cancelled by unpublishing the private content or changing the content's access back to public. An individual contact won't be sent the email if they are removed from the relevant list during this period. After this delay, the email will be sent after a standard processing time of three to four minutes.

Contacts will be prompted to register and log in when they visit a restricted page URL. After logging in successfully, HubSpot adds a cookie to the visitor's web browser so they won't be prompted to log in again. If desired, you can send contacts a direct link to log out of private content access on your domain.

CMS Hub Enterprise accounts can set up membership for blogs. The settings for your blog posts are managed within your account settings. To set up membership registration for private blog content, you must set all of the posts on your blog to private.

Making your blog's content private sends a registration email to any contacts who haven't already registered for customized content access. The language of this email is set by your domain's primary language.

For enhanced security, you can automatically log out users who access your private content or customer portal after 20 minutes, 40 minutes, 60 minutes, or 24 hours of inactivity. HubSpot users must have the Website settings permission to turn on idle session timeouts.

By default, your private content will have simple registration emails with the company name and logo set on the Basics tab of your private content settings. You also have the option of creating custom emails:

If a contact didn't receive your registration email, advise them to add noreply@domain.com ("domain" being the subdomain your private page is hosted on) to their address book, or to add your sending IP addresses to their allowlist.

There are a few contact properties that will update automatically for contacts that are invited to register to view private content. The Membership notes property can be updated manually or with a workflow.

You'll receive a spreadsheet with the email address and contact ID of each contact that engaged with your private content or registration page. The file contains a log of whether each contact successfully completed their registration or logged in to view private content.

Finally, the SCA should not be viewed as a license to delete e-mails or other electronic communications that may be relevant to a brewing dispute. Litigants and potential litigants are obligated to preserve such information even in the absence of a formal request. This includes ensuring that relevant data is not overwritten in the normal course of business. Before disposing of e-mails or other electronic communications that may be relevant to a current or future dispute, you should always consult with counsel first.

Note: If you cannot use any recovery methods, you have permanently lost access to your account. However, you can unlink an email address tied to the locked account. The unlinked email address can then be linked to a new or existing account. For more information, see "Unlinking your email address from a locked account."

Warning: If you protect your personal account with two-factor authentication but do not know your password, you will not be able to follow these steps to recover your account. GitHub can send a password reset email to a verified address associated with your account. For more information, see "Updating your GitHub access credentials."

If you know your password for GitHub.com but don't have the two-factor authentication credentials or your two-factor authentication recovery codes, you can have a one-time password sent to your verified email address to begin the verification process and regain access to your account.

Click Send one-time password to send a one-time password to all eligible addresses associated with your account. Only verified emails are eligible for account recovery. If you've restricted password resets to your primary and/or backup addresses, these addresses are the only addresses eligible for account recovery.

A member of GitHub Support will review your request and email you within three business days. If your request is approved, you'll receive a link to complete your account recovery process. If your request is denied, the email will include a way to contact support with any additional questions.

Email hosting isn't provided on Shopify. If you have a Shopify-managed domain, and you want to send an email message from your custom domain email address, then you need to use a third-party email hosting service.

Shopify Support can't access your third-party domain provider, even if you give your permission. If you need help configuring your email settings in Zoho Mail or Google Workspace, then contact your third-party email hosting service provider.
